JANTHIKALU(murukulu)


Ingredients:

2 cups - Rice flour
1/2 cup - Gram flour (Besan)
1/4 cup - Moong flour (Pesara Pindi)
1/4 cup - sesame seeds
1 teaspoon each - cumin and ajwan/vaamu (carom seeds)
1/2 teaspoon each- red chilli powder and salt
Pinch of baking powder

Method:
Mix well all ingredients. with warm water make a dough. should not knead hard.If you did that it may pop in hot oil. Now tack tha murugu maker (we can get in Indian store)just stuff in it. Tack foil and make small rounds 2 to 3 times... now remove carefull from foil and drop in hot oil fry untill golden brown.. save tha muruku in air tite containers
