PAVU BAJI




Ingredients:

1 big or 2 medium potatoes cut into cubes
1 carrot chopped
10-15 green beans chopped
1/4 cup frozen green peas
1 big onion chopped
1 big tomato chopped
1/2 capsicum chopped
1 1/2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp jeera powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp pav bhaji masala
1/2 stick butter

Preparation:



Pressure cook potatoes, carrot, beans, peas & salt. Mash them and keep aside.
Heat butter in a pan and add chopped onion along with ginger-garlic paste & little salt.
Fry till golden.
Add tomatoes & little salt. Cover and cook till tomatoes are soft. Mash well.
To this add chopped capsicum, Pav bhaji masala, turmeric powder, coriander powder & jeera powder.
Cook till ghee floats on top.
Now add mashed vegetables along with water and cook for about 20 minutes.
Finally add chopped coriander leaves.
Serve with chopped onion, lemon juice & pav (Slice the Pav, spread some butter & roast both sides).
