PUDHINA VADA(MINT SNACK)


Pudina Vada:

•1 cup Chana Dal + 2 tsp Raw Rice (Soaked for 2-3 hours)

•1 tsp Corn flour
•1/2 cup Mint leaves
•1/2 cup Fresh Cilantro
•1 tbsp Jeera
•Few Green Chillies (Use according to ur spice level)

• Ginger 1inch
•1 big Onion chopped into fine pieces
•Few Curry Leaves
•Salt

Method:

•Keep a fistful of chanadal aside and dry grind the remaining chanadal, mint leaves,cilantro, ginger, g.chilli, jeera,salt,corn flour (DO NOT USE WATER)
•Now to the batter, add the reserved chana dal ,curry leaves and onions
•Make vadas and fry in hot oil

•Remember,these vadas take a little time to fry....So keep adjusting the flame...If oil gets too hot,lower the flame & if its not sufficiently heated,increase it.
